Board Chair


Keli Mondello

Co-Founder – Learning Independence For Tomorrow, Inc.  (Board Member 2013 to present) 
Keli Mondello is the Co-Founder and Board Chair of LiFT.
A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, Keli spent ten years working in the school system, gaining a profound understanding of the challenges and possibilities within education. Her passion for acceptance and inclusion fuels her leadership at LiFT, where she is committed to creating equitable opportunities for neurodivergent individuals. Keli leads by fostering collaboration, driving strategic growth, and building meaningful partnerships to advance the organization’s mission. She has served as the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities and as Chair of the Pinellas County Commission for Persons with Disabilities. Additionally, she was appointed by the Governor to the Florida Independent Living Council and served on Governor DeSantis’ Transition Advisory Committee for Education. Keli currently serves as a Board of Trustee for the Foundation for Florida’s Future, which advocates for policies that enhance educational opportunities for all students. As a proud parent, Keli draws inspiration from her own family and is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where all students and families feel empowered to succeed. Her vision and dedication continue to shape the school’s impact within the community.

Kim Kuruzovich

Co-Founder – Learning Independence For Tomorrow, Inc.  (Board Member 2020 to present)

Kim Kuruzovich is co-founder of Learning Independence for Tomorrow.  She has over thirty years of passion and experience providing academic services for neurodivergent individuals.  Kim currently sits on the LiFT Board of Directors, as well as serving on several of LiFT’s committees.

Matt Spence

Matt joined LiFT as Executive Director in 2024. He is a two-time graduate of Florida State University with a Master’s Degree in Education Policy and a Bachelor’s in Political Science. He is a graduate of Florida State University’s Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program, and also holds a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Texas and the Icehouse Social Enterprise training program.  He is a Leadership Pinellas graduate, Florida Celtic soccer coach, and church youth ministry volunteer. Matt grew up in the Tampa Bay area and resides in Pinellas County with his wife and three sons.

Matt Rich

Senior Vice President of Wealth Management – UBS Financial Services  (Board Member 2015 to present)

Matt’s career spans over 34 years in the financial industry, specializing in designing financial plans for individuals focused on capital preservation, retirement, college planning, and estate planning. Matt also works with public companies in managing their equity compensation and employee stock purchase plans.  Matt has dedicated many year to serving the non-profit community, including 12 years on the Boulder Jewish Community Center Board of Directors and currently in his 7th year on the board of the Rose Community Foundation.  Since joining LiFT’s Board of Directors in 2015 and while serving as LiFT’s Treasurer, Matt has ensured that LiFT has the adequate resources to not only advance LiFT’s mission, but also to help prepare LiFT for its future growth and sustainability as an organization. Matt also serves on LiFT’s Capital Campaign Leadership Committee.

Kyle Maxson

Corporate Counsel – Progressive Insurance  (Board Member 2017 to present) 

Kyle serves as Corporate Counsel for Progressive Insurance, and has spent the majority of his legal practice focused on civil litigation and insurance defense. In 2014 he became one of the youngest attorneys in the state of Florida to achieve the distinction of Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar. Kyle is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2003 and Juris Doctor in 2006.

Colby Masterson

Owner and Partner – Frey Masterson Investment Advisors (Board Member 2023 to present) 

Colby is a Certified Financial Planner and one of less than 1% of financial advisors with a CFP designation and Juris Doctor. He is a two-time graduate of Florida State University where he received both his Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor. Colby is an active participant in non-profit community organizations, having served on the Board of Directors for various organizations including Suncoast Estate Planning Council, Give Hope Foundation, Menorah Manor, and LiFT. He has also volunteered with LiFT, Gulfcoast Legal Services, Police Athletic League (PAL) of St. Petersburg, Northeast High School Academy of Finance, Boy Scouts Pack 209, American Heart Association, Great American Teach-In and Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County. Colby is also an alumni of the 2014 Class of Leadership St. Pete.

Chris Aisenbrey

Chief Human Resources Officer – Raymond James Financial (Board Member  – March 2024 to Present)

Chris Aisenbrey is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Raymond James Financial. In his role as CHRO, Chris leads all human resources functions including talent acquisition, talent development, diversity & inclusion, executive compensation & total rewards, employment practices, HR technology, and workforce planning to ensure human capital strategies align with the firm’s culture and growth. Chris is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Eric Beck

SVP, National Non-Profit Practice Leader – Marsh & McLennan | Bouchard Insurance (Board Member  – March 2024 to Present)

Eric joined Bouchard Insurance in 2003 and was invited into the ownership group in 2007. He became one of the majority shareholders and a board member.  In February of 2019, Bouchard was acquired by Marsh McLennan Agency where he is a Senior Vice President and National Non-Profit Practice Leader. Prior to joining Bouchard Insurance, he worked in many social service settings, including residential group homes and as a teacher of severely emotionally disturbed middle school children. 

The LiFT Board of Directors is comprised of community volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise all dedicated to supporting the strategic vision of Learning Independence For Tomorrow.
