I have my BS with a dual major in both Elementary and Special Education from Carthage College. I’m in my 7th year of teaching and have experience as an educator in Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Florida- teaching students k-6! Originally from Wisconsin, my desire for warm weather and traveling drew me to participate in the Disney College Program in 2012 (still an adult obsessed with Disney!). Residing in St. Pete, I love spending time paddle boarding at the beach, quality time with my 2 dogs, and going on adventures with my boyfriend, Cody. I maintain an active lifestyle by practicing yoga and pilates along with daily meditation.
In the 4th grade, I discovered my passion for working with those with special needs and had friends of all different abilities. I have 10+ years of experience working with children and have always been drawn to learning more about neurodevelopment and those who fall on the ASD Spectrum. LiFT is doing incredible things and I can’t wait to be part of the team!
