Greetings! I am the youngest of 3 children and my mom and dad raised us in the mountains of upstate New York. I received a BA from Grove City College in Grove City, PA in 1986 and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1994, the place I also met my husband of 30+ years, Eddie. I worked on my master’s degree while working for FUS in the Student Life Department where I was the Assistant Dean of Women and the Residence Hall Director. Eddie and I moved our family here in 1998 and by that time we had 5 children. I stayed home with them in their younger years before returning to classroom teaching in 2009 at a private school in St. Pete. I am blessed and honored to be a founding teacher of LiFT Academy and to have shared this journey with the amazing women who made an extraordinary vision come to life! In my history with LiFT I have been an elementary, middle, and high school teacher, Assistant Principal, and now Principal.
In my spare time I love all things nature like hiking, kayaking, exercising with my dog – anything that gets me out in the great blue yonder! I also love spending time with my family, especially at a good coffee shop or around our dinner table!
